'How the Story goes" is a song about a friend in my past that I thought was truly there for me and a good person throughout, only for him to prove me wrong and show his true colors after an argument we went through. He decided to never grow or learn from his mistakes and tried to blame me for all of the problems he brought upon himself. He then proceeded to talk about me as if everything that happened between him and I was a reflection of how poor of a friend I was. All he ever wanted out of music was fame and stardom. I believe that is NOT what music is about and that he was doing it for all of the wrong reasons.
